Sethren Holdings is seeking six (6) experienced and motivated Millwrights to join our high-performing maintenance crew. If you’re passionate about mechanical systems, thrive in fast-paced industrial environments, and are committed to safety and precision, we want to hear from you!
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and industrial machinery.
- Conduct inspections and execute preventive maintenance programs.
- Diagnose faults and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, and other critical equipment.
- Align and calibrate machines and mechanical components to manufacturer specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
- Ensure all tasks meet company and regulatory safety standards.
- Support plant improvement and machinery upgrade projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and escalate major faults promptly.
✅ Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years’ proven experience as a Millwright in mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry.
- Expertise with rotating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication.
- Excellent mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
- Physically fit, with capacity to work in confined spaces or at height.
- Availability to work shifts, weekends, and standby when required.
🎓 Qualifications:
- Trade Test Certificate as a qualified Millwright (Essential).
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar (Advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety, OHS standards, and industry compliance.
