Responsibilities:

  • Perform clerical administration duties, including Transport Services, Human Resource Administration, General Admin Support Services, and Provisioning Services (Procurement and Issuing of stores).
  • Ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PMFA, Chapter 6, Part 3).

Requirements:

  • Senior Certificate (Matric).
  • Undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6/7) in a relevant field is an added advantage.
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.

Position: Practitioner: Facilities Management & Auxiliary Services
Location: Regional Office, Mahikeng

Overview:
SASSA is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join the Facilities Management & Auxiliary Services team. This role involves managing the physical infrastructure and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical infrastructure needs assessments.
  • Assist with the acquisition of local offices and renewal of leases.
  • Monitor projects and draft reports.
  • Oversee service delivery improvement projects.
  • Manage major technical projects, maintenance, and repairs of buildings.
  • Manage service level agreements for leases in consultation with District management.
  • Conduct site inspections and maintain an asset register.
  • Coordinate and monitor payments of monthly rentals and municipal services.
  • Conduct OHS compliance inspections.

Requirements:

  • National Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in Property Development and Management or Facilities Management.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license is essential.

Join SASSA’s team as a Grants Administrator, where you will play a vital role in the administration of social grants and providing customer care services at the local office level.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in administering social grants.
  • Provide customer care services.
  • Screen grant applications effectively.
  • Process social grant applications.
  • Conduct quality control on grant applications.
  • Assist with the processing of medical, beneficiary maintenance, and payment processes.
  • Ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3).

Requirements:

  • Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • A valid driver’s license and administrative/clerical experience are added advantages.
