• Grade 1: R174,261 per annum
• Grade 2: R203,271 per annum
• Grade 3: R239,559 per annum

🩺 Minimum Educational Qualification

An appropriate qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.

📝 Professional Registration

Must be registered with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant.

💼 Experience Required

• Grade 1: No experience required
• Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years of appropriate/recognizable experience after registration with SANC
• Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years of appropriate/recognizable experience after registration with SANC

📌 Inherent Job Requirements

• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, public holidays, after-hours, and night duty
• Flexibility to rotate between wards and departments as required
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

✅ Core Competencies

• Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of relevant legislation:
  • Mental Health Care Act
  • Child Care Act
  • Nursing Act
• Experience in Community Mental Health at a specialized hospital level
