🎯 Purpose of the Role
As an Operator Maintenance in the Mining division (MRS), you will be responsible for operating mining machinery and equipment efficiently and safely to support operational excellence and cost-effectiveness.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain mining-related machinery within defined parameters.
- Conduct daily inspections and participate in planning meetings.
- Adhere to safety protocols and report risks or incidents.
- Perform housekeeping duties and support sustainable waste management.
- Provide feedback on equipment condition and job progress.
- Participate in continuous improvement (CI) and root cause analysis (RCA) initiatives.
- Support plant reliability through equipment checks and minor repairs.
- Attend training to improve technical knowledge and compliance.
📚 Education & Experience
- Minimum Qualification: National Senior Certificate with Mathematics and Science
- Experience: No prior experience required (0+ years)
- License: Valid Driver’s License
