Job Overview

Solenis is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to support daily production and chemical handling operations. The role involves receiving and offloading chemical deliveries, maintaining storage areas, monitoring dosing systems, and ensuring accurate stock control while adhering to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive chemical deliveries from Diversey and assist drivers with forklift arrangements
• Offload chemical containers from delivery trucks safely and efficiently
• Submit all required delivery documentation to Technicians
• Transfer chemicals from bulk storage to day tanks when required, using appropriate barricades and safety signage
• Maintain cleanliness and order in chemical containment and storage areas, ensuring they are free from spills and debris
• Monitor dosing lines and pumps for leaks, damage, or faults and report issues immediately to Technicians
• Complete daily stock take reports for all chemicals
  • Night shift: reports at 06:00 and 18:00
  • Day shift: report at 13:00
• Accurately complete stock allocation reports
• Update daily line schedules and submit them to Planners
• Conduct routine line inspections to identify issues such as downtime, nozzle spray patterns, and leaks
• Remove, clean, and replace blocked nozzles as needed
• Ensure conveyors are clean and operating correctly
• Test and record water hardness levels
• Be present on the production line during start-up following maintenance activities
• Perform COF and drag tests as required

Work Environment

This role requires strict adherence to safety procedures and close collaboration with Technicians and production teams to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
