Position Overview
As a Host at Louis Vuitton, you will serve as a brand ambassador and the first point of contact for clients entering the store. You will play a key role in creating a warm, refined, and memorable client journey by building genuine relationships from the moment clients arrive. Through attentive listening, you will understand client needs and guide them to the appropriate areas of the store. Working closely with store management and the sales team, you will help manage client flow, animate the queue, and bring the Louis Vuitton Promise to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome all clients with exceptional professionalism, warmth, and courtesy, ensuring a world-class first impression.
- Create a personalised and luxurious experience for every client, from arrival to departure.
- Engage clients while they wait, manage expectations, and maintain an enjoyable in-store atmosphere.
- Identify client needs and direct them to the appropriate departments, advisors, or services within the store.
- Manage and promote the daily appointment calendar, encouraging clients to book appointments when required.
- Support managers on duty with client flow, waiting time management, and queue animation.
- Collaborate closely with the wider store team to ensure a seamless experience aligned with brand standards.
- Offer informed recommendations on local restaurants, cultural attractions, events, and points of interest.
- Assist with and support in-store and special events as business needs arise.
- Build and nurture relationships with key and VIP clients.
- Provide administrative and operational support within the store as required.
Profile Requirements
- Previous experience in concierge services, hosting, VIP relations, or hospitality management.
- Proven success in a client-facing or luxury service environment.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive or challenging situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong knowledge of the local area, including key events and cultural highlights.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
- Able to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident decision-maker with the ability to think on your feet.
