Rola Toyota Somerset West is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Parts Storeman to join our Parts Department. If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and have a knack for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be your next move!
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming parts and materials
- Labelling, tagging, and storing parts in designated areas
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records
- Preparing parts for dispatch and ensuring order accuracy
- Assisting with cycle counts and regular inventory checks
- Supporting workshop flow and ensuring no delays due to stock issues
- Upholding safety and cleanliness standards in the storage area
- Collaborating with the team to meet workshop and customer needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Grade 12 / National Certificate (Minimum)
- Previous experience in a parts, warehouse, or distribution environment
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit – capable of lifting and moving heavy items
- Basic computer skills (email, stock systems, etc.)
