📌 Available Permanent Positions
PRASA is recruiting across several departments to strengthen operational efficiency, safety, and service delivery.
🖥️ Data Capturers (24 Positions)
Salary Range: R13 400 – R16 200 per month
Requirements:
- Proven data capturing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer literacy (MS Office proficiency)
- Ability to work under pressure
Role Overview:
Data Capturers will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining operational and administrative records. This role requires precision, confidentiality, and efficiency to support PRASA’s internal systems and reporting functions.
🛡️ Security Guards (30 Positions)
Salary Range: R8 900 – R11 800 per month
Requirements:
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s License
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Security experience preferred
- Strong observation and communication skills
Role Overview:
Security personnel will be responsible for safeguarding PRASA facilities, staff, passengers, and assets. Duties include monitoring premises, patrolling designated areas, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
🚛 Drivers – Code 10 (50 Positions)
Salary Range: R11 200 – R13 900 per month
Requirements:
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License
- Valid PDP
- Clean driving record
- Good knowledge of Gauteng routes
Role Overview:
Drivers will transport staff, equipment, and materials safely between PRASA sites. The position requires professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to road safety regulations.
🧹 Cleaners (100 Positions)
Salary Range: R7 300 – R9 400 per month
Minimum Requirement:
- Grade 10
Role Overview:
Cleaners play a critical role in maintaining hygiene and cleanliness across stations, offices, and facilities. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring a safe environment for passengers and employees.
🔧 General Workers (150 Positions)
Salary Range: R7 300 – R9 400 per month
Minimum Requirement:
- Grade 10
Role Overview:
General Workers will assist with operational support tasks including loading, maintenance assistance, site preparation, and general labour duties as required across various departments.
