💰 Salary Ranges
- Grade 1: R264,750 per annum
- Grade 2: R306,411 per annum
- Grade 3: R330,540 per annum
📚 Minimum Educational Qualification
- As required by the training facility and the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
- Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification that allows registration with the SAPC
📝 Registration Requirements
- Registration with SAPC as a Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic)
📈 Experience Requirements
- Grade 1: No experience required post-registration
- Grade 2: Minimum 5 years’ appropriate experience
- Grade 3: Minimum 13 years’ appropriate experience
🚗 Inherent Job Requirements
- Valid Code B/EB driver’s licence
- Willingness to work after-hours
- Willingness to travel between PHC facilities in the SWS

🔧 Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in prescription processing under a pharmacist’s supervision
- Prepare, label, and supply medication appropriately
- Provide patient guidance and health promotion
- Manage ordering, control, and distribution of medications
- Support chronic medication access programs (e.g., home deliveries)
- Carry out general administrative and housekeeping tasks
