About the Role

Epiroc Digital Safety Solutions South Africa is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our Centurion team. The role involves supporting the production of electronic equipment and devices by assisting with assembly, testing, and packaging activities to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and package electronic devices and components according to established production procedures.
• Assist in building test units and prototypes.
• Perform wiring tasks for production units.
• Solder electronic components and operate hand tools or machinery safely.
• Follow production instructions and schedules to meet daily targets.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve production challenges and improve workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping.
• Provide general support to the Production Manager, Engineers, and Technicians.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum: High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Suitable for recent school leavers or individuals with limited experience who are eager to learn and develop new technical skills.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment is an advantage.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
