Position Overview
Sappi is seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals for full-time General Production Worker positions at the Westbrook, Maine facility.
This role involves working in a manufacturing environment operating and supporting industrial production equipment.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Stable work history (manufacturing experience preferred)
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong safety record and awareness
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write in English
Preferred Experience
- Production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
- Experience operating large industrial equipment/machinery
- Basic computer literacy
- Forklift or Clamp Truck experience and/or license
Compensation & Benefits
๐ฐ Starting Pay: $21.94 per hour
๐ฐ Post-Training Pay: Up to $29 per hour (depending on position)
