Job Overview

Right To Care is seeking a Professional Nurse to join their community-based team in the Theewaterskloof Sub-District. This role focuses on providing comprehensive healthcare services, promoting wellness, and supporting patients’ adherence to treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning: 10% – assist with planning and implementing health programs.
• Clinical Care: 40% – provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Basic Care & Rehabilitation: 10% – support patient recovery and basic care needs.
• Health Promotion & Wellness: 10% – educate communities on healthy practices.
• Adherence Support: 5% – ensure patients follow treatment plans.
• Human Development: 10% – engage in professional development and mentorship.
• Quality Assurance: 5% – maintain healthcare standards.
• Recordkeeping & Data Collection: 5% – accurately document patient data.
• Administration: 5% – assist with routine office and healthcare administration tasks.

Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 and a Diploma in General Nursing.
• Registration: Must be registered with SANC.
