✔️ Conduct quality tests to ensure product and packaging meet company standards.
✔️ Compile detailed reports on quality assessments.
✔️ Identify and communicate any out-of-line specifications to maintain quality standards.
✔️ Help minimize costs while ensuring high-quality products.
✔️ Maintain records for audit and compliance purposes.

🧠 Required Knowledge & Skills
📚 Technical Knowledge
🔬 Understanding of Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in the food industry.
🧪 Familiarity with laboratory policies and practices.

🎓 Qualifications & Eligibility
✅ Grade 12 with:

Mathematics & Physical Science passed with 40% or higher (Not Mathematics Literacy).
Two South African languages passed with 40% or higher.
✅ Currently studying Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related field.
✅ Must have completed theoretical modules and require practical exposure.
✅ Must NOT have completed an In-Service Training at another company.
📌 Additional Requirements
✔️ South African Citizen (Employment Equity candidate preferred).
✔️ Must be unemployed at the time of application.
✔️ Age Requirement: 18-35 years old.
✔️ Must provide a letter from their institution requesting workplace experience for qualification completion.
✔️ The In-Service Trainee Programme lasts 12 months.
