About the Role
We are looking for two dedicated Reagent Operators to join our team at the Impala Central site in Rustenburg. You’ll be essential in ensuring the plant’s reagent operations run smoothly and meet all client-specific requirements. This role involves hands-on work, equipment handling, quality monitoring, and strict adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain reagent quality and flowrates
- Perform sampling and stock-taking of reagents
- Operate reagent equipment safely and efficiently
- Offload reagents and ensure correct handling procedures are followed
- Capture data and maintain accurate logs
- Conduct daily safety and equipment inspections
- Report any deviations or irregularities to supervisors or vendor managers
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science, or NQF Level 4 in Chemical Operations
- A Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering will be an added advantage
- Experience working in a Flotation Plant is beneficial
- Proficiency in basic computer applications is essential
- Must be willing to relocate if required
- Preference will be given to local residents
