The City of Ekurhuleni is offering a learnership opportunity within the Department of Real Estate and Development Planning. This programme is designed for young, motivated individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a customer-focused environment while developing essential workplace skills.
✅ Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 (or equivalent)
- South African Citizen
- Resident of the City of Ekurhuleni (proof of residence required)
- Computer literate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service orientated
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
🎓 Training Responsibilities:
- Participate fully in all learning activities and practical work experiences
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of training and work activities
- Attend and actively engage in all theoretical and study sessions
🧭 Placement Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls
- Assist with order placements, complaints, and general inquiries
- Update and maintain customer data accurately
- Provide professional and courteous support to customers
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure service excellence
- Follow up on unresolved customer issues
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times
