Are you skilled in operating heavy mechanical plant and want to make a tangible impact in your community? We’re looking for a dependable Road Plant Operator to support road and stormwater maintenance projects.

This role is ideal for someone hands-on, team-oriented, and willing to work outdoors in all conditions — keeping Durban moving safely and smoothly.

🔧 What You’ll Do:

• Transport materials, equipment, and personnel to/from worksites
• Operate heavy mechanical vehicles for roads and stormwater maintenance
• Ensure safe discharging of materials for repairs
• Complete relevant work documentation and communicate with superiors
• Perform site preparation and clean-up before and after tasks

✅ What You Need:

Essential:

• Secondary education
• Code C1 Driver’s License + PrDP
• Valid plant operation competency certificate
• 2 years relevant experience

Preferred:

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
• 3 years relevant experience
