🏊 What You’ll Do

• Monitor beach safety and perform lifeguard duties.
• Assist in beach administration and Power Craft operations (IRB/Jet Ski).
• Comply with training, safety, and emergency protocols.
• Maintain professional appearance and assist with public safety.

✅ Requirements

Essential:

• Matric or appropriate secondary education.
• Valid Lifeguard award (with current retest).
• Level 2 First Aid (or obtain within 6 months).
• At least one holiday season as a lifeguard or 12 months with a Surf Lifesaving Club.
• Ability to use two-way radios.

Preferred:

• IRB crewman certificate.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 18+ months of lifeguard experience.

⚠️ Special Conditions

• Must pass a fitness test.
• Work in all weather conditions, including weekends and public holidays.
• Required to wear uniform and follow instructions from Lifeguard In-Charge.
• Leave during school holidays considered case by case.
• Must provide proof of Hepatitis B immunization.
