Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification
- Basic Security Course (PSIRA accredited)
- PSIRA Registration – Minimum Grade C (Grade A is a plus)
- Clean criminal record
- 1 year of relevant security experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure public facilities, staff, and property across the City to maintain a safe environment
- Perform access control and maintain a visible presence to deter threats
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond swiftly to suspicious activity
- Maintain order and assist during emergencies
- Complete essential security administration and reports accurately
