Security Officer (Ref No: HR4/4/7/45)
Salary: R193 359 per annum
Centre: Provincial Office – Mpumalanga

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
• Grade C Security Certificate (PSIRA).
• At least 12 months’ security experience.
• Knowledge of: Access to Public Premises and Vehicles Act, Evacuation Procedures, Minimum Information Security Standards, PSIRA Procedures, Batho Pele Principles, Public Service Regulations Act, Departmental Policies and Procedures.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, listening, computer literacy, planning and organising, analytical ability.

Duties:

• Manage access control for the Labour Centre and Provincial Office.
• Safeguard information and assets within the premises.
• Conduct security patrols to ensure the safety of employees and clients.
• Carry out internal security investigations and enforce security regulations.
