Requirements

Key Responsibilities
- Perform access control duties in accordance with the Control of Access to Public Premises and Vehicles Act (Act 53 of 1985).
- Verify and identify employees, visitors, and contractors at access points.
- Register and electronically screen employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Grant access only after verifying all required information and confirming appointments.
- Issue and retrieve visitor access cards; maintain visitor registers.
- Conduct inspections of suppliers, goods, and items brought into the premises.
- Patrol buildings, premises, fenced areas, and secure vehicles/equipment from a security perspective.
- Inspect security equipment and report deficiencies or concerns to senior security personnel.
