Fraser Alexander is looking for a SHEQ Assistant to champion safety, health, environmental, and quality systems across operations. If you’re passionate about building safer workplaces and meeting compliance goals, this is your chance to make a measurable impact.


๐Ÿ” Key Responsibilities

  • SHEQ Implementation: Maintain and improve SHEQ systems aligned with both internal policies and client expectations.
  • Compliance: Ensure operations meet legal requirements; review statutory documentation and site appointments.
  • Risk Management: Facilitate and review baseline risk assessments, observe tasks, and manage incident-based risk analysis.
  • Incident Reporting: Record and report all incidents; support WCA claims tracking and employee medical status updates.
  • Project Involvement: Provide SHEQ input on special projects and ensure ongoing improvement.

๐ŸŽ“ Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 + National Diploma in Safety Management
  • Experience: 2 years in a safety-focused role
  • Must-Haves:
    • Strong communication & facilitation skills
    • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Risk assessment know-how
    • Valid Driverโ€™s Licence
    • Tailings experience (advantageous)
