Fraser Alexander is looking for a SHEQ Assistant to champion safety, health, environmental, and quality systems across operations. If you’re passionate about building safer workplaces and meeting compliance goals, this is your chance to make a measurable impact.
๐ Key Responsibilities
- SHEQ Implementation: Maintain and improve SHEQ systems aligned with both internal policies and client expectations.
- Compliance: Ensure operations meet legal requirements; review statutory documentation and site appointments.
- Risk Management: Facilitate and review baseline risk assessments, observe tasks, and manage incident-based risk analysis.
- Incident Reporting: Record and report all incidents; support WCA claims tracking and employee medical status updates.
- Project Involvement: Provide SHEQ input on special projects and ensure ongoing improvement.
๐ Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 + National Diploma in Safety Management
- Experience: 2 years in a safety-focused role
- Must-Haves:
- Strong communication & facilitation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Risk assessment know-how
- Valid Driverโs Licence
- Tailings experience (advantageous)
