Key Responsibilities
- Delivering excellent customer service to ensure a memorable shopping experience
- Understanding and addressing each customer’s unique needs
- Providing prompt, relevant assistance both in-store and over the phone
- Following all customer service standards
- Identifying customer requirements and advising on products, pricing, and warranties
- Demonstrating and explaining products to customers
- Driving sales, including add-on products and services
- Ensuring stock is correctly priced and properly displayed
- Executing promotions on time and planning ahead for implementation
- Maintaining merchandising standards, store layout, and cleanliness
- Preparing and managing promotional displays
- Reporting fast- and slow-moving items to the Store Manager
- Participating in stock counts and stock-taking activities
- Minimizing stock loss
- Controlling expenses within your area
- Maximizing sales opportunities
- Safeguarding company assets
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate
- At least 6 months of retail experience
- Own or reliable transport to work shifts
General Duties
- Perform additional tasks as required by Senior Management
- Complete all mandatory and service-related training
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all information
- Participate in regular appraisals and personal development reviews
- Stay updated with current SOPs
- Fully support new technologies and working methods
