About the Role:
Clicks is looking for two Shop Assistants / Cashiers to join their Centurion store. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering service excellence by providing efficient customer service, managing point-of-sale operations, and maintaining merchandising standards to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately and efficiently
• Scan merchandise and process payments, including handling cash safely
• Promote and enroll customers in the Clicks ClubCard program to achieve participation targets
• Inform customers about promotions to boost sales and ensure customer satisfaction (“feel good and pay less”)
• Act as a brand ambassador by offering professional, friendly, and visible customer service
• Maintain store housekeeping and merchandising standards in line with company guidelines
• Stay updated on products, ranges, promotions, and events to assist customers effectively

Knowledge Required:

• Basic maths and numeracy skills
• Understanding of merchandising and promotions principles (Retail/FMCG background advantageous)
• Familiarity with stock management procedures
• Strong customer service knowledge

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Grade 12 (essential); minimum 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level (desirable)
• Experience: Previous customer-facing role in retail/FMCG (desirable)
