Clicks Group is seeking enthusiastic Shop Assistants / Cashiers to join the Johannesburg team. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, efficient point-of-sale operations, and effective merchandising to create a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all point-of-sale (POS) activities accurately and efficiently.
• Process transactions with precision, including scanning products, handling cash, and processing clubcard rewards.
• Ensure safe cash handling at all times.
• Promote and enroll customers for the Clicks Clubcard to meet participation targets.
• Inform customers about promotions to drive sales and enhance their shopping experience.
• Provide professional, friendly, and visible customer service as a brand ambassador.
• Carry out merchandising and housekeeping tasks in line with store and visual merchandising standards.
• Support the company’s goal of being the preferred health and beauty retailer by living its values.
• Stay informed about products, promotions, and events to provide accurate customer guidance.

Required Knowledge

• Basic mathematical calculations.
• Retail/FMCG background with knowledge of merchandising and promotions.
• Understanding of stock management processes.
