About the Role

Join Clicks Mall @ Reds as a Shop Assistant / Cashier, where you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, executing point-of-sale (POS) operations, and ensuring effective merchandising to create a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately scan merchandise and process payments, including handling cash safely and actioning ClubCard rewards.
• Promote and enroll new members to achieve ClubCard participation targets.
• Inform customers of promotions to drive sales and enhance their shopping experience.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service as a visible brand ambassador.
• Maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards according to company guidelines.
• Stay updated on products, ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate information.
• Support the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer.

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge:

• Basic maths and numeracy.
• Retail/FMCG background with understanding of merchandising, promotions, and stock management.
• Strong grasp of customer service excellence.

• Computer literacy.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Desirable: Minimum 50% in both Maths and English at Grade 12 level.
• Experience: Customer-facing retail/FMCG experience is advantageous.
