Role Purpose
To provide exceptional customer service by efficiently performing point of sale (POS) operations, merchandising, and in-store support, ensuring customers enjoy a seamless shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process all sales transactions efficiently and accurately at the point of sale.
- Handle cash safely and responsibly at all times.
- Promote and enroll customers in the Clicks ClubCard loyalty programme to achieve participation targets.
- Inform customers of promotions and offers to drive sales and deliver the “feel good, pay less” experience.
- Act as a brand ambassador by delivering friendly, professional, and visible service.
- Execute merchandising, stock management, and housekeeping duties in line with store standards.
- Stay informed on product ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
- Support the company’s vision of being the first-choice health and beauty retailer by living the Clicks values.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge:
- Basic maths and numeracy skills.
- Retail/FMCG experience with an understanding of merchandising and promotions.
- Knowledge of stock management procedures.
- Strong customer service awareness.

Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
- Desirable: Minimum 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level.
- Experience: Customer-facing experience in a retail/FMCG environment (advantageous).
