Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
- Professional registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP)
- Shortlisted candidates must provide proof of current registration
- Valid driver’s license
Knowledge Required:
- Public Service Act and Regulations
- Batho Pele Principles
- Human behaviour and social systems
- Ability to empower individuals, families, groups, and communities
- Competence in providing social services to vulnerable and at-risk groups
- Ability to mentor Social Auxiliary Workers
- Understanding of the Performance Management and Development System
Skills:
Communication, interpersonal relations, computer literacy, research, problem-solving, report writing, time management, presentation, facilitation, counselling, numeracy, language proficiency, and driving skills.

- Deliver social services focusing on care, support, protection, and development of vulnerable individuals, families, groups, and communities
