About the Position
Motus Toyota Cape Gate is looking for a dedicated and organized Storekeeper to join the Parts Department. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that automotive parts are received, stored, and issued accurately and efficiently according to company and Toyota standards.
This role reports directly to the Manager: Parts and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured warehouse environment with strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, inspect, and correctly store incoming parts in designated bin locations
- Verify that parts are undamaged and correctly labeled before storage
- Ensure all relevant documentation is signed and submitted to the Admin Department
- Maintain accurate binning and inventory control according to Toyota standards
- Pick parts accurately using computerized invoices and documentation
- Check outgoing parts to ensure they are in good condition before dispatch
- Maintain high accuracy when picking and issuing parts
- Follow all company safety and security procedures
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Assist with perpetual and periodic stock counts
- Perform additional duties as required by management
- Adhere to Toyota dress code standards and maintain good personal hygiene
- Be available to work overtime during stocktaking periods
Requirements
✔ Grade 12 (Matric)
✔ Computer literacy is essential
✔ Clear criminal record
✔ Warehouse or parts store experience will be an advantage
✔ Strong verbal communication skills
✔ Ability to work according to Toyota operational standards
