About the Role
Masterparts is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stores Person to join our Kenilworth branch. This role involves working Monday to Friday and alternating Saturdays. The successful candidate will assist with various warehouse operations, including stock handling, order picking, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Offload and inspect incoming stock for accuracy and quality.
- Move, organise, and pack bulk inventory.
- Pick and verify stock for dispatch.
- Prepare and pack parcels for freight.
- Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and orderliness at all times.
- Safeguard warehouse assets and assist with general security.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required to support warehouse operations.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar warehouse role.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, especially with stock numbers.
- Physically fit and able to handle lifting, carrying, and prolonged standing or walking.
- Experience in the automotive aftermarket industry is advantageous.
- Product knowledge of automotive spares is an added benefit.
- Experience in medium to large warehouses or busy dispatch environments is preferred.
- Basic mechanical or technical understanding is beneficial.
- Computer literacy is advantageous.
- Forklift license preferred.
- Health and Safety, First Aid, or Firefighting certifications are advantageous.
