Tsebo Solutions Group is seeking a professional, confident, and customer-focused Switchboard Operator to join our KwaZulu-Natal team. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and stakeholders, you will play a vital role in shaping positive first impressions and ensuring seamless communication across the organisation.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally (within 5 rings / 20 seconds)
- Accurately transfer calls to the relevant departments or individuals
- Take clear, detailed messages and relay via email or Microsoft Teams
- Assist with dialing and transferring international calls
- Maintain updated records of staff extensions, new joiners, leavers, and emergency contacts
- Support departments with reasonable ad hoc administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with TFS House Rules and SHEQ standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 18001)

- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette and professional manner
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Access)
- Ability to manage high call volumes efficiently
🎓 Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- 1–2 years’ experience in a switchboard or administrative role
- Customer service experience within a busy electronic switchboard environment
