🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain tractors and various farm equipment.
• Load, transport, and offload goods and materials.
• Conduct refuse removal within the farm premises.
• Maintain farm infrastructure, including firebreaks, access roads, and research trails.
• Perform routine inspections on water reservoirs and livestock drinking troughs.
• Assist in livestock care and general farming activities.

✅ Minimum Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: ABET Level 2 or equivalent (SAQA recognised).
• License: Valid Code EC1 driver’s license with PrDP.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in operating tractors or farm machinery.

🧠 Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

• Proficiency in operating agricultural equipment and tractors.
• Basic diesel mechanic and engine maintenance skills.
• Familiarity with discing, planting, and harvesting operations.
• General knowledge of various farm implements and tools.
• Understanding of Batho Pele Principles.
• Good communication and driving skills.
