🎯 The Role

Reporting to the Operational Readiness Lead, the Trainer – Mechanical Trades will:

• Conduct training needs analysis for mechanical teams
• Design and deliver technical training aligned with company standards
• Apply OEM-aligned training methodologies
• Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
• Manage training administration and compliance processes
• Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance in all training activities

🛠️ What You’ll Need

• National Craft Certificate (NCC) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in training & development (mining environment preferred)
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Hydraulics
  • Pneumatics
  • Diesel engines
  • Conveyor systems
• Registered Trainer/Assessor with Botswana Qualification Authority (BQA)
• Train the Trainer & Assessor certification (BQA or SAQA aligned)
• LMS and learning technologies experience (advantageous)
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
