🎯 Role Overview

Reporting to the Operational Readiness Lead, the Trainer – Mobile Equipment / Mining Operations will:

• Conduct training needs analysis for underground mining operations
• Design and deliver technical training programmes
• Ensure compliance with OEM standards and company training policies
• Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve programmes
• Manage training administration processes
• Promote safety, health, and environmental compliance

You will play a key role in preparing teams for safe and efficient underground production.

✅ Minimum Requirements

• National Craft Certificate (NCC) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Operator / Mining Operations Trainer or Assessor
• Registered Trainer/Assessor with Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA)
• Train the Trainer & Assessor certification (BQA or SAQA aligned)
• At least 2 years’ experience as a multi-mobile machine operator in an underground environment
• LMS experience (advantageous)
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills

Added Advantage:
✔ 2+ years in a supervisory role within underground mining operations
