🚛 Position Overview
Midvaal Local Municipality is inviting applications for a Truck Driver (Water Section) to support efficient service delivery through safe and reliable transportation of water and materials.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 (Grade 12 will be an added advantage)
- Valid Driver’s License: Code EC (14)
- Valid Public Driver’s Permit (PDP)
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant driving experience within a Local Government Authority
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Adaptability, problem-solving ability, attention to detail
- Hard-working and self-disciplined
🛠️ Key Duties
- Drive trucks and load/off-load water and materials
- Plan and execute daily tasks per instructions/work orders
- Perform basic administrative duties
- Ensure effective use and maintenance of vehicles/equipment
- Assist with other duties when required
- Carry out ad hoc tasks as requested by management
💰 Salary & Benefits
- Salary: R210,060.00 – R236,256.00 per annum
- Total Package (incl. benefits): R356,532.96 per annum
- Level: 10 (Grade 04 – Local Authority)
