Job Overview
MIT Auto Parts is seeking motivated and detail-focused Warehouse General Workers (Warehouse Receivers) to join its Warehouse 9 team. This role is ideal for physically fit individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and have an interest in motor parts and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive and process incoming stock and materials
- Pack customer orders and assist with general warehouse operations
- Ensure assigned storage areas are clean, orderly, and well maintained
- Use a digital camera to document stock when required
- Read, check, and confirm part numbers and codes for accuracy
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent, including Maths and English
- Physically capable of lifting and handling heavy items
- Strong attention to detail with basic counting and checking skills
- Interest in motor vehicle parts
- Ability to work well within a team and apply sound judgment
Experience Required
- At least 1 year experience in warehouse or stock receiving
- Minimum of 1 year experience in stock checking
- Experience in part number or code verification
- Familiarity with warehouse scanning equipment
Additional Requirements
- Proficiency in English
- Valid Matric certificate with Maths and English
- Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Germiston, Gauteng before commencement
