About the Role
Lumax Energy, a leading manufacturer of engineered solar mounting structures, is looking for a dedicated and detail-focused Warehouse Stock Picker to join our team in Clayville.
The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and efficient picking of stock based on pick slips or dispatch instructions. This role demands precision, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work productively in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining Lumax Energy’s reputation for product integrity and traceability by ensuring all items are correctly picked, labelled, and photographed before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack stock accurately according to pick slips or dispatch lists.
- Verify product details, codes, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage and label picked items in the correct dispatch areas.
- Perform basic visual quality checks and report any damaged or incorrect items.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety within the warehouse.
- Assist with loading/unloading goods and general stock movements.
- Support stock counts, reconciliations, and other inventory-related activities.
- Report any stock discrepancies or quality issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Matric (Grade 12) – required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a warehouse or stock-picking environment (preferred).
Language: Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Technical Skills:
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to accuracy.
- Ability to use handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and trolleys.
Soft Skills:
- High attention to detail and reliability.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically capable, punctual, and able to follow instructions precisely.
