About the Role

UPS is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to support transport and logistics operations by ensuring the timely collection and delivery of consignments across various locations in South Africa. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient transport flow and high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and deliver consignments timeously to various destinations
  • Ensure all shipments are handled and transported according to required timelines
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and legibly
  • Plan efficient routes for deliveries and collections
  • Communicate effectively with Transport, Import, and Export teams
  • Liaise professionally with clients, airlines, and handling facilities
  • Identify and report delays, discrepancies, or issues promptly
  • Understand and complete documentation such as retrieval notes, MAWB, and HAWB
  • Label, prepare, and support shipment dispatch processes
  • Assist with packing, stacking, and monitoring of warehouse assets
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of warehouse and company vehicles
  • Follow all operational instructions and warehouse procedures

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan routes and manage time effectively
  • Physically fit and able to handle warehouse and loading duties
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
  • Willingness to be flexible according to business needs
