🚜 Apprenticeship Overview

AFGRI is offering 40 apprenticeship positions for:

• Tractor Mechanics
• Earthmoving Mechanics

This is a 3-year structured training programme combining practical and theoretical learning.

📚 What You’ll Gain

🛠️ Training Structure

• First 6 months = probation period
• Formal apprenticeship contract after probation

  • On-the-job workplace training

💼 Duties

• Repair and maintain tractors or earthmoving equipment
• Perform stock control
• Assist with customer service
• General workshop duties

📋 Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 with:
  • English
  • Mathematics or Technical Mathematics (NOT Maths Literacy)
• Valid driver’s license
• Computer literacy
• Good communication & admin skills

Advantageous subjects:

• Physical Science
• Engineering Graphics & Design
• Diesel/Motor Trade Theory
