Requirements:
- Grade 10 / ABET qualification with at least 2 years of driving experience.
- A valid driver’s licence and Professional Driving Permit (PDP) are required.
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles.
Skills and Competencies:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read and write effectively.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required.
- Ability to operate different types of vehicles for various duties, including transporting staff, goods, equipment, and documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate light and medium vehicles to transport passengers and deliver items such as mail and documents.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any defects promptly.
- Complete all required vehicle records and logbooks accurately.
- Provide messenger services, ensuring the timely distribution of documents and mail.
- Perform photocopying, printing, and scanning tasks as needed.
- Register and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing mail.
