Position Overview
We’re looking for a professional and reliable Driver to support our Corporate Services division by ensuring the safe, timely transportation of staff, patients, and medical supplies across our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport patients, staff, and supplies safely to and from scheduled locations.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and regularly maintained.
- Follow all traffic laws and Intercare’s safety policies.
- Keep detailed records of trips, fuel usage, and any vehicle concerns.
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure smooth logistics.
- Handle occasional loading/unloading of supplies.
- Deliver excellent customer service aligned with Intercare’s vision and values.
What You Need
- A valid driver’s license and PrDP.
- At least 2 years’ driving experience, ideally in a healthcare or professional environment.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Physically fit and able to handle light manual tasks.
- Familiarity with Pretoria’s routes and traffic patterns is advantageous.
