🔍 About the Role
TWK Agri is looking for a Trainee Grain Grader to join their team at the Rietspruit Bunker in Ermelo. This is an entry-level opportunity designed to train and develop you into a qualified Grain Grader while gaining hands-on experience in grain handling and quality control.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Assist with grain intake and dispatch processes
- Support grading activities under supervision
- Operate and assist with weighbridge duties
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and pest control standards
- Support food safety and quality management systems
- Perform basic admin tasks (filing, data capturing)
- Follow Occupational Health & Safety regulations
- Communicate with team members, farmers, and supervisors
- Work shifts and overtime when required
🎓 Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license
- Basic computer skills (MS Word & Excel)
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to complete a Grain Grader course
- Ability to work in environments with dust, heights, and confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
